THRIFTY!

03 October 2011
I love estate sales on the very last day, there are always great deals to be had. No I didn't buy this sofa, but it was a half of the price marked, so it was $30 but if I wanted it I could have had it for $15....*le sigh* I passed on it.
Now I did get these sweet little chairs for a whole $10!! These will get a fresh coat of paint and the seats reupholstered. I'll have to check in my stash of fabric remnants. Hopefully, I have them ready for Miss Mustard Seed's furniture linky party this week.
This is a piece I acquired from my cousin this past week, not sure what I'll be doing with it who knows....the River Front Flea Market is coming up....it maybe for sale there since it's not quite my style.
LAST DAY ESTATE SALE TIPS:
1| The last day is the very best day to go. Most often the prices are 50% off or even less.Yes, you may have missed some good stuff by not going the first day, but there will always be another sale next week. 2| If your buying several items always ask for further discounts. The worse, they can say no. 3| Keep boxes, bags and paper for fragile and small items with you. You never know you may need them.

7 NOTES { Thank You! }:
